Well, the title says it all really. I hope everyone has a good Christmas and New Year and I hope 2010 will be a good one.
2009 has not been a kind year to me and my family – in fact, it has to go down as the worst year I’ve ever had. There were, of course, silver linings along the way and things that made us smile and laugh, but the overwhelming memories of 2009 will be tinged with both sadness and bitterness and will mark us for the rest of out lives.
So, spare a thought to those not here to celebrate Christmas with us in 2009 and don’t forget to tell those that you love that, well, you love them! Sometimes tomorrow doesn’t always come.
